New Balance — 2002R silhouette. The 2002R is NB’s “dad shoe grail” — originally a $250 running shoe from 2010, reissued in 2020 as a lifestyle sneaker. It uses 860v2 uppers + 860v2 tooling + ABZORB + N-ergy. This is the silhouette that made New Balance cool to sneakerheads. Design Details
Color & Material: Nightwatch Green suede + mesh upper with grey/sage suede overlays and white “N” logo with grey outline. Sail/cream ABZORB midsole with grey/black outsole.
Tech: ABZORB + N-ergy + Stability Web. Chunky, segmented, early-2000s runner shape. The 2002R has the thickest, most substantial sole of any NB you own.
